The Rooney Experience

I truly didn’t think that working in retail on the strip would be a stargazing event. Just the other day, Robert Schwartzman, the front man for Rooney stopped in to find some new shirts. While assisting him and his friend, I wanted to ask so many questions but not be a freak about it. We talked about Coconut Records (his brother’s band/company), reminisced the days when Rooney had residency at The Roxy in West Hollywood and asked him about how a few of our friends are doing. I kept it professional and let them shop like “normal people” and they left the store. As boring as my life sounds right now, he reminds me of being free to do what you want in life. You may have to let go of people in your life but don’t worry; there are more people that you will meet and be more supportive of you. Just visualize, attack your dreams, and see where you will end up. You’re most likely going to end out on top.

LegoLand Comes to Everyother Day Use

Has anyone visited Legoland out in SoCal? - I so missed out. A friend of mine is a hardcore legoland fanatic and he’s 22! He will be all in a giddish mood when I tell him that Lego is teaming up with Digital Blue to release digital cameras, mp3 player, video cameras and walkie talkies for children, the young at heart or the boys that never grew up starting this summer; ( I look at wristwatch) soon. There is speculation that there will be lego boomboxes and radio clocks to be released to the public shortly after. Prices range from 16 to 60 bucks. Click here to buy.

Say What?! Ice Kream July 27th Photos Part 1

Noel Calizo took a break from DJing to show you that our crew has multiple talents besides throwing cool parties. SayWhat?! this month was filled with yummy ice kream treats. The Ice Cream Man photographer came and shot the outdoor stage and they should have them up in a bit and I will post them up when they do. Vegas Banger was sick with the flu so his brother Shaughn Sr hoped on the tables with Mike Attack! to provide DJ support. I was a little bummed the projector was broken because I burned a compilation of all the Michael Jackson’s videos for you. RawVegas.TV was there shooting a video and it should be up shortly as well. Say What?! is the last Saturday of the month at Beauty Bar; often imitated never duplicated.

Futurecop! Michael Jackson Remix
Michael Jackson inspired Futurecop! remix I found over at our friends at Big Stereo for your listening pleasure. I saw a video of a bunch of fans dancing to his music on TV as a great way to pay tribute to this influential artist. Roccanova says he created a special Michael Jackson remix for this Saturday’s party.

Mini Daft Punk Feud With Mini Lady Gaga
Mini Lady Gaga is feuding with mini Bloody Beetroots & mini Daft Punk for supremacy of the scene. Mini Daft Punk’s pryamid was recently destroyed at a nightclub show by fans of mini Lady Gaga for recent comments made that all mini Daft Punk was doing was pushing play inside their neon light show pyramid. Mini Bloody Beetroots has put more fuel on the fire by telling mini Lady GaGa to go back to doing mini Brittany. Sike!

The Afghan Raiders have sent over some high quality mp3s for your listening pleasure and for our readers who also DJ. If you want to hold onto the dice and not crap out, you must go see them when they bring a slice of Las Vegas to your city during their west coast tour.
